R. Scott Bennett
Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Scott Bennett joined MedQuist as senior vice president of Sales and Marketing in November 2005. With more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare technology sales and marketing field, Bennett has a proven track record in developing and leading high performing sales and marketing organizations.
Immediately prior to joining MedQuist, Bennett was senior vice president of Sales and Marketing at Scheduling.com (d/b/a SCI Solutions Inc.), where he rebuilt the company’s marketing, sales and sales support infrastructure and processes. He also helped lead the company to record revenue and profit growth. In addition, Bennett was responsible for transforming the company’s nationwide sales force into an organization with a high-performing culture, and helped lead the company’s first acquisition.
Prior to his position at SCI, Bennett was vice president, Corporate Sales, at Siemens Medical Solutions USA. During his tenure at Siemens, he led the regional sales teams to win and close the company’s largest transactions, including negotiating the company’s first Information Technology strategic alliance agreement. He also was a key contributor for all customer retention and business development task forces. Bennett began his career at Shared Medical Systems, where he served in a variety of increasingly responsible sales and marketing leadership positions over a 17-year period.
Bennett holds a bachelor of science degree in Business Management and Marketing from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). |
