President
Mr. Finke was named President of MedQuist in September 2011, following
the Company's merger with M*Modal in August 2011. Mr. Finke previously
served as Chairman, CEO and Co-Founder of M*Modal. A respected
technology leader in the field of conversational speech recognition and
natural language understanding, Mr. Finke led M*Modal from inception in
2001 to its industry leadership role and large scale adoption of its
unique cloud based natural language understanding services. Prior to
M*Modal, Mr. Finke served as Chief Technology Officer and a Co-Founder
of Interactive Systems (ISI) and has held positions at IBM, the
University of Karlsruhe and Carnegie Mellon University. He has published
more than 30 articles and earned his B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in
computer science from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany.
