Detlef Koll
Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Koll previously served as Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of
M*Modal, where he he was the driving force in the development of its
Conversational Documentation Services platform and established M*Modal
as the leading technology partner in the healthcare documentation space.
Before founding M*Modal, he was a Co-Founder and Vice President for
product development for Interactive Systems (ISI) and served as Director
of Speech Recognition Research at Lernout & Hauspie Speech
Products. Mr. Koll has held research positions at Carnegie Mellon
University and Advanced Telecommunications Research Laboratories in
Kyoto, Japan. Mr. Koll earned his B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in computer
science from the University of Karlsruhe.
