SpeechQ for Radiology™, MedQuist's award-winning interactive, front-end speech recognition solution, was a major hit at the 2007 Radiological Society of North America conference. Booth traffic was constant throughout the show, and there was often a wait for demos at the eight workstations. MedQuist spokespeople were interviewed by numerous trade publications, and most importantly, the show resulted in several hundred sales leads. As one observer commented, it is no longer a question of if these healthcare facilities are going to get speech recognition, but when. Visitors who came to the booth were not just casually looking at the technology, but making serious inquiries.
