Continuous Recording
The Advocate V™ system is a multi-channel, continuous recording system designed for courtrooms, legal proceedings, and business and professional conferences.
Advocate V features:
- Unattended operations
- Six hours of uninterrupted recording
- Four-track recording
- Standard cassette media
- Three record modes
- Hands-free playback
- Simultaneous playback of one, two, three, and/or four tracks
The Advocate V Recording System is engineered to exceed the demands of today’s continuous recording environment. A four-track recording process isolates up to four distinct recording areas. This feature is designed for picking up audio in large conference rooms or in courtroom settings where a microphone can be strategically placed to record groups consisting of many participants or individual speakers. For example, it could be placed to pick up witness box audio, prosecution, defense attorneys and judge’s bench.
Playback can include one, two, three or all four tracks. This is essential for accurate transcription, particularly in legal settings, and eliminates repeated playbacks, errors or “holes” in transcribed documents.
The Advocate V records up to six hours on a standard cassette with three recording modes. Sequential Mode records on one tape at a time, automatically switching as each tape nears its end. Dual Mode records on both tapes simultaneously, and Duplicate Mode makes copies of tapes while retaining the unique four-track format. |
