The MedQuist Benefits Plan

MedQuist offers a broad range of valuable benefits for employees and their eligible dependents, which add to the total compensation package.   • Paid time off, with the number of days based on employee classification and years of service.
  • Basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance at no cost.
  • Supplemental life insurance at low group rates for employees, their spouses and dependent children.
  • Short-term and long-term disability coverage at low group rates.
  • Flexible spending accounts – for healthcare and for dependent care – that allow employees to set aside money for those expenses before taxes are deducted.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP), a confidential, problem-solving resource that is provided free to all employees and their families, for help with work-related issues as well as personal problems.
  • 401(k) Savings Plan, with a company performance-based match, which provides employees with the opportunity to save for retirement on a pre-tax basis. Employees are eligible to join the plan on the first day of the month after they reach 90 days of service.
